RESEARCH INTERESTS
In collaboration with regional healthcare organizations, Dr. Wagoner’s research interests are focused on identifying determinants of physical activity and sedentary behavior across clinical populations, assessing the effectiveness of physical activity interventions that are tailored to address these determinants, and utilizing implementation frameworks and scale-up physical activity interventions across clinical and community-based settings. His most recent research has taken this approach across various cancer populations in both clinical and rural settings to better understand the accessibility and effectiveness of physical activity resources and programming.
