The 8th Annual Funtastic Field Day was a huge success! Hosted every spring by the Recreational Therapy program in KRSS, Funtastic Field Day serves as an inclusive event designed to bring together individuals of all abilities from the surrounding community for a day of fun, connection, and celebration. The activities and games were thoughtfully planned and facilitated by our Introductory Recreational Therapy students, who worked hard to ensure that every participant could fully engage and enjoy the experience. The energy was contagious with laughter, encouragement, and new friendships filling the air… Not to mention the smell of popcorn! Funtastic Field Day was a wonderful reminder of the power of inclusive recreation and the creativity of our future recreational therapy professionals.
