Additional Information

Prior to coming to the University of Tennessee, Ashley served as a clinical specialist in recreational therapy at an inpatient physical rehabilitation facility in Knoxville. In August of 2018, Ashley joined the Volunteer family and the KRSS department as an adjunct instructor in the Therapeutic Recreation program. Ashley has held several positions in KRSS since 2018 and now serves as a lecturer and the Director of Field Education, overseeing all the practicums and internships in the KRSS department. When Ashley is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her sweet husband, her two delightful and wild boys, and her dear friends. Some of her favorite things to do with her family and friends are going camping and hiking, eating a really good meal, playing board games, and playing music.
