Biography

Ben currently serves as a Field Education Lecturer in the Kinesiology program. Since 2017, Ben has worked in various roles at the University of Tennessee. Ben has strong ties to athletics working with athletes as a Coaching Assistant in the Olympic Sports Performance department. Ben previously served as an adjunct instructor in Kinesiology teaching KNS and PYED courses. Ben also taught First Years Studies courses during his time as an adjunct. Prior to UT, Ben has amassed a wealth of experience in the fitness industry. He previously served in leadership positions in the private sector and corporate fitness where he oversaw aspects of fitness programming and event planning. Ben also worked as a collegiate strength and conditioning coach as an assistant strength coach at Georgia State University and as a director of strength and conditioning at Shorter University.
