Dawn Coe Receives 2024 Alumni Achievement Award

Associate Professor Dawn Coe has been awarded the 2024 Alumni Achievement Award from her alma mater, The University of Michigan.

Coe was given this Career Achievement Award due to her work “assessing physical activity for youth, particularly in outdoor settings, as well as the impact of fitness on cognition and academic performance in young people.”

 

Additionally, Coe worked with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) as a fellow and member of the Board of Trustees’ Task Force on Youth Fitness. Coe has also served as president of the North American Society for Pediatric Exercise Medicine.
