Proposal Budgets

A detailed budget with line item costs for each project period is required by most funding agencies. A detailed budget is always required by UT Office of Sponsored Programs. Budgets should represent actual project costs and should include annual inflation for items such as salary, tuition, student health fees, and any other costs anticipated to increase.

Below are detailed internal budget forms. An internal budget must be submitted with each proposal, in addition to the funding agency’s budget forms. Most proposals use annual project periods, and there should be a separate budget for each year of a multi-year project.
