Teaching Assistant Professor

The Department of Public Health at the University of Tennessee is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant Professor (12-month, non-tenure track). The primary role involves leading the development of a fully online Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH) program. Additional responsibilities include coordinating the undergraduate public health internship course and teaching both in-person and online public health courses.

Position Details:

  • Start Date:June 1, 2025
  • Location:Knoxville, Tennessee (Relocation required)
  • Duration:Five-year appointment, renewable based on performance
  • Requirements:Doctoral degree in public health or related field; teaching experience online and in-person
