Doctoral student Rosy Kamrunnaher received the fall 2024 UTK Graduate Student Research Award.
Funding from the award will assist with her dissertation project, which focuses on the prevention of sexual violence in bar environments. The project specifically assesses Safe Bar, a program developed by the Sexual Assault Center (SAC) of Nashville aimed at preventing sexual violence in the bars of Tennessee.
Ms. Kamrunnaher is a public health doctoral student whose research focuses on gender-based and sexual violence prevention programs in various settings. She is currently working on her dissertation.
