Adapted Alternating Treatment Design: Methodological Study

At the recent Mid-South Regional Conference for Psychology in the Schools, Gini McClurg, pictured, presented on a study that examined a methodological issue with a specific single-subject research design.

The researchers explored methodological issues with the Alternating Treatment Design; specifically threats to internal validity. They determined that an adapted version would address the noted threats to internal validity by including a no-treatment phase.

Other results and implications are outlined in the linked poster. For other information about the study please contact either Gini McClurg ([email protected]) or her faculty advisor, Dr. Chris Skinner ([email protected]) or Dr. MariBeth Coleman ([email protected]).
