The KLASS Center is committed to providing the highest quality services available, and in order to do that, we do have to charge fees for our services. However, thanks to the generous gifts by the Korn family, we are able to charge significantly less for comparable services in the Knoxville metro area.
We are a training facility and doctoral trainees, doctoral interns, and postdoctoral associates are involved with each service. For evaluations that you request be conducted solely by a licensed psychologist, fees are significantly higher.

Payment for services is expected at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, money orders or credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). We also offer a payment plan for up to six (6) months if that fits your budget better. We do not currently accept third party payment (Insurance) since the majority of our services do not fall under the medically necessary requirement; we can however, provide you with an invoice that you may submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement, but we do require you to pay the fees for services at the time of service unless another prior arrangement has been agreed upon.
We do offer a sliding fee scale for families and individuals with limited income. Our sliding fee scale is formulated from federal poverty guidelines that takes into account both income and the number of family members living in the household. Proof of income is required for a reduced fee.
All of our fees for all of our services are set at lower rates and all may be eligible for the sliding scale if you meet the federal poverty guidelines. [One exception is the fee for the Postsecondary Autism Support Services (PASS) Program – those program fees will be set by the University and are not subject to the sliding scale]
If you believe you might be eligible for a reduced fee for service due to limited income, please complete the following required information and someone will provide you the cost based on your unique situation:
