Kimberly R. Hill

UG Leadership Studies Instructor, Project Excellence Lead Instructor

Kimberly R. Hill, a ’96 graduate of Knoxville College and a triple UT Volunteer (MEd ’01, EdS ’10 and PhD Candidate ’21) is a native of Knoxville and has her EdS in Educational Administration. She is currently a doctoral candidate in Higher Education Administration and an instructor the Leadership Minor Programs at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She has been with the Leadership Studies program from its inception. Her vision for Leadership Studies included the development of Project Excellence Youth Leadership Initiative in partnership with Project GRAD – Austin-East and the S.M.A.R.T. Institute. She is instrumental in the program’s 2021 launch and will design its curriculum and serve as its lead instructor. Her special interests include, grant writing, pre-college access programs, and research on the retention of underrepresented students at higher education institutions.
