Prior to joining the ESM program at UTK, M. Andrew Young completed three business degrees from different institutions, the most recent was his MBA from Tusculum University. For the past four years, he has served as the Director of Assessment & Institutional Excellence for the ETSU Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy. His academic interests include studying factors for student success, particularly in Graduate/Professional studies programs, but also enjoys studying processes (such as continual process improvement for assessment). His personal interests are spending time with his family (spouse and children), chess, writing music, rock climbing, pickleball, disc golf, and collecting bowties.
