Biography
Kelsey Freeman is a 4th year doctoral student in the school psychology program at the University of Tennessee. She earned her B.A. in Experimental Psychology from Tusculum University and her M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Western Carolina University. Her dissertation is the initial development and validation of a teacher well-being scale based on positive psychology theory. Kelsey recently completed the APPIC match and will continue her education and training as an intern with the Tennessee Internship Consortium (TIC) hybrid clinic/school track for the 2026-2027 school year before conferring her doctoral degree. Her career goals include working in a school or private clinic setting, providing person-centered, goal-oriented, and collaborative therapy/intervention and assessment services to children and families. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, traveling with friends and family, going to the movies, and playing board and video games.
