Sherry Marlow Ormsby serves as the Executive Director of the Office of Planning, Evaluation, and Institutional Research (OPEIR) at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In this role, she leads the OPEIR team to support UTC’s planning, assessment, evaluation, and institutional effectiveness efforts. Prior to earning a Ph.D. in the ESM Program, Sherry earned a Master of Public Administration from UTC and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science from Washington State University. Her research interests center around student access, success, and completion. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, and traveling with her spouse and dog.
