Laura Barry received her BSN from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga, and her MSN in nursing education from Tennessee Tech University. She is a certified emergency nurse (CEN) and a trauma-certified registered nurse (TCRN). She also holds certifications as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) and a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE). Ms. Barry teaches in a clinical role at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, within the undergraduate nursing program. Her aspiring scholarly interests include factors affecting the undergraduate nursing scholar and academic support programs within nursing education. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Tennessee Nurses’ Association, and Emergency Nursing Association.
