ACED PhD

Joyce is a Ph.D. student joining the program 2023. She earned her Associate Degree in Human Services from Elgin Community College, her bachelor’s degree in social work from Northeastern University and her master’s degree in social work (MSW) from the University of Illinois: Jane Addams School of Social Work. She received her clinical license as a social worker while living in Florida and transferred her license to Tennessee where she now resides. With more than thirty years of professional experience, Joyce has worked across diverse settings, including child welfare, healthcare, education, and private practice. Outside of her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
