Johnathon holds a B.A. in English from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Education from Lincoln Memorial University. He currently serves as a graduate research assistant for the ELPS department, working as the assistant program coordinator for the HEAM M.S. and Ph.D. programs. His research interests focus on divisive concepts and political contention in K-12 education, gender and racial inequality in K-12 leadership, and superintendent turnover, attrition, and job satisfaction. Johnathon is also a graduate student council member for the University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA) and a graduate research fellow for the Tennessee Board of Regents.
