Jeffrey Silvers is an Extension Specialist with the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, where he leads educational programming and outreach initiatives at the UT Solar Farm in Stanton, Tennessee. In this role, he develops and delivers engaging learning experiences for K-12 students, adults, community groups, and industry partners, while also supporting regional marketing efforts for UT Extension across West Tennessee. His work focuses on expanding access to hands-on, experiential learning opportunities that connect agriculture, energy, and workforce development. 

Jeffrey brings a diverse background in higher education and student engagement to his current role. He previously served as an admissions counselor at Lincoln Memorial University before transitioning into the role of Director of Residential Housing, where he oversaw student life operations and campus housing initiatives. He holds a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in higher education administration, and a second master’s degree in digital marketing. 

His research interests include experiential learning, community partnerships, and the intersection of education and workforce development, particularly in rural and emerging industry contexts.
