Diondre is a PhD student in the Evaluation, Statistics, and Methodology program at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Old Dominion University. He currently serves as a Research Development Coordinator at UTK, where he supports faculty in identifying and pursuing external funding opportunities and contributes to their professional development through the Expanding Horizons Program. His research interests focus on student career clarity and development, particularly through the Mission-Gap Framework, which he is creating to help students articulate meaningful direction rooted in values, identity, and social impact. He is also interested in evaluating the effectiveness of career centers in preparing students for professional life and identifying gaps in how these programs support students’ career ambitions. At the heart of his work is a passion for helping students maximize the spaces they occupy, whether gaining experience in college, launching a career, or advancing within an organization. Beyond academics and work, Diondre enjoys fitness, basketball, and puzzles.
