School Director, Emerald Academy Knoxville

Carlissa completed her Instructional Leadership Graduate Certificate from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2022. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in Elementary Education and Master of Science in Teacher Education from UTK.

Prior to assuming her role as School Director, Carlissa served as an elementary teacher and later as the Dean of Curriculum and Instruction and a Grade Band Director for 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades at Emerald Academy.
