ACED PhD

Brigitte Passman is an Extension Agent with the University of Tennessee, serving Trousdale County in 4-H Youth Development. A two-time UT graduate, she began the PhD program in Adult & Continuing Education in Fall 2024, focusing on community-based learning and applied Extension practice. Her global experiences include work in China, Cambodia, Japan, and Greece through international teaching, agricultural Extension development, and professional exchange programs. Passman has earned multiple honors, including the UTK 40 Under 40 Alumni, 2025 Ben T. Powell Distinguished Service Award, and the ELPS Emerging Scholar/Practitioner Award, and remains dedicated to advancing youth development and Extension education.
