Dr. Samble serves as the chief student affairs officer/director of student affairs at Penn State University, Berks campus; one of the Commonwealth Colleges within the Penn State System. The Student Affairs Division supports students through Case Management, Counseling Services, Health Services, Inclusive Excellence, Residence Life, Student Engagement & Leadership. #WeAre is a phrase and frame of mind that binds Penn Staters together across the world. Planning signature events, helping students navigate life challenges, and collaborating with other campus offices to support student success fosters that sense of community.
Tennessee faculty and senior university staff provided an outstanding education in leadership and how to exercise ethics and integrity in decision-making. The HEAM PhD sought to develop scholar-practitioners. I value the leadership lessons and faculty mentorship to grow and excel in my career to this day. Go Vols!
Recent Accomplishments:

Currently completing an Executive Certificate in Higher Education Leadership (ECHE) at Harvard University, which includes the Institute for Management & Leadership in Education (MLE), Mental Health in Higher Education, and Institute for Education Management (IEM) all offered through the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Currently completing an MBA at Penn State University’s Smeal College of Business with concentration in Public Administration and a Certificate in Negotiations & Influence

Appointed as NASPA Region II Pennsylvania State Representative for Eastern PA by the Region II Advisory Board

Advice to Current Students:

“Plan your courses as building blocks to your dissertation. Take methods courses you will later apply; take electives to find a theoretical framework.”
