Andrew Miller is an accomplished secondary educator who specializes in English Language Arts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education with an English minor from East Tennessee State University in 2018. He currently teaches English and serves as a Professional Learning Community (PLC) Leader at West High School. Previously, during a successful four-year tenure at Austin-East Magnet High School, his dedication to instruction across standard and Advanced Placement Literature curricula earned him the 2021 Junior SLC Most Valuable Educator Award. Beyond his classroom initiatives, Andrew continuously fosters student engagement and community outside the traditional academic environment as the Head Coach of the West High School Rock Climbing Team.
