Kala Ison
She is the Project Manager for the Children, Families, and Communities portfolio at the University of Mississippi. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Physical Therapy, a Master’s in Community Health from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and a Certificate in Health Data Analytics from East Tennessee State University. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to improving the quality of care and services in areas such as coordinated school health, social services, emergency preparedness, and maternal and child health. Leveraging her professional networks, she has successfully identified resource gaps and expanded services to underserved populations.
