Brandon Frazho graduated from Northern Michigan University in May of 2013 (B.S. – Political Science) and University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis in December of 2014 (M.A. – Public Policy/Educational Leadership). Brandon was both an RA and baseball club president in undergrad, and also served on Orientation Staff, which kickstarted a career dedicated to leadership and service. After working in Higher Education for approximately 10 years (with brief stints in banking and mortgage), in 2024, Brandon joined the PhD in Higher Education Administration program. Brandon is currently working for University Housing, having done so for now 6 years, and is the Assistant Director for Academic Initiatives. Brandon is also a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths coach and passionate about using innovative strategy to break boundaries, including qualitative research surrounding mentoring student leaders and those participating in living and learning communities (LLCs). Additionally, with deep experience in policy, Brandon aims to provide transformational experiences to all UTK students and beyond. Brandon’s current research interest priority is critically examining the training and development for mid-management higher education professionals in the SEAHO region.
