Amy Maples is a postdoctoral research associate in the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Maples supports the Center for Enhancing Education in Mathematics and Sciences (CEEMS) as well as wider work across the department and is an affiliated faculty member of the Tennessee Reading Research Center (TRRC).
