The Center for Enhancing Education in Mathematics and Sciences (CEEMS) serves as the organizational unit for projects related to mathematics and science education and the discovery of new strategies that generate effective STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education in the PreK–16 arena.
CEEMS was established in 2010 to serve as the organizational unit for projects related to mathematics and science education in the P-16 arena, as well as to provide an interdisciplinary/intercollegiate base for the development of proposals to secure external funding for STEM education projects. The primary goals of CEEMS reflect the theme of supporting access to STEM education.

CEEMS seeks to create, identify, implement, and evaluate novel instructional practices that support access and equity in STEM education.
CEEMS engages individuals and communities in the renewal of STEM as a tool to address local and global challenges.
