I am passionate about solving complex challenges in the hospitality and tourism industry by applying business analytics to enhance organizational performance and customer experience. At its core, my research relies on two interconnected pillars: I use data analytics to uncover hidden patterns in large-scale datasets and derive strategic insights, and I apply optimization techniques to translate those insights into effective business decisions. Specifically, my work examines how firm-level digital initiatives influence organizational performance, resilience, and service quality. In addition, my study develops algorithms to optimize the deployment and routing of service robots and creates personalized tourism itineraries.
In the classroom, I aim to bridge theoretical knowledge and practical application by engaging students with real-world hospitality problems, industry-based examples, and guided analytical activities. By providing continuous support inside and outside the classroom, I seek to help students develop confidence, strengthen their problem-solving abilities, and prepare for long-term professional success in the hospitality and tourism industry.
