My interests include instructing through student experiential learning and practical skills via industry projects, applicational platforms, and case studies to connect academic comprehensive concepts and theories. My goal is to provide robust topics that interest our students to play a responsible and successful part in their retail business career paths. I have a passion to mentor students to make the biggest impact from retail entrepreneurship to retail corporate. My twenty-plus years in the industry with global brands, corporations, retail business, and fashion positions give our students the perspectives to understand real-world challenges and how to best lead in their careers. I hold two international and U.S. patents in consumer goods and have extensive licensing involvement with launching new products in multiple countries, worldwide.
I am the Director for the Rocky Top Institute of Retail and Retail Strategies for the UT Creamery. I instruct Product Development, Entrepreneurship, Retail Operations, and Rocky Top Institute fellowship.
