Joe Perrock, M.A.
Lecturer | Event Designer | Entrepreneur
I bring more than 30 years of experience to the event industry as both an educator and event services professional. My career has come full circle, beginning in education, expanding through more than three decades of professional event services, and ultimately returning to higher education. As the owner of Premier Event Services and a Lecturer at the University of Tennessee, I combine real-world industry experience with academic instruction, helping bridge the gap between event theory and professional practice. My work has included corporate meetings and conferences, nonprofit fundraisers, political events, community celebrations, festivals, concerts, and live productions.
Throughout my career, I have taken a strategic approach to event planning and production, recognizing that successful events must advance organizational goals while creating meaningful experiences for guests. This same philosophy guides my teaching, consulting, and event production work. Committed to lifelong learning and professional growth, I remain engaged with evolving industry practices, technologies, and trends while preparing future leaders for careers in hospitality and event management.
