Biography
My chosen career path is helping and supporting college students in their academic, career, and personal pursuits. I am originally from a small town in West Tennessee (Savannah, TN). I moved to Knoxville to pursue my graduate degree which is in College Student Personnel (basically I have a degree helping and supporting college students during the life transition that is undertaken when a student is in college). In my role in RHTM, I academically advise all HTM majors on their path to degree completion, develop and maintain relationships with partners in the hospitality industry, support students in their career planning, and show prospective students what our majors have to offer.
