Ebony M. Robinson, Teaching Assistant Professor
Ebony M. Robinson joins RHTM as a Teaching Assistant Professor after serving two years as an Assistant Professor in Human Development and Consumer Sciences at the University of Houston. She earned her doctoral degree in Consumer and Design Sciences from Auburn University in 2023, an M.F.A. in Luxury and Fashion Management from the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a B.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from Jackson State University.
Robinson brings extensive teaching and industry experience. At RHTM, she will teach a variety of courses in fashion, retail, and merchandising, while also guiding students in producing the student-led fashion show, debuting in April 2026 as part of the RHTM Student Enrichment Fundraiser. Her expertise and passion for applied learning will provide students with exceptional hands-on experiences and strengthen the Retail and Merchandising Management program’s industry engagement.
Jennifer Mikels, Business Manager
Jennifer Mikels was promoted to Business Manager of RHTM in July 2025. While serving as Accounting Specialist, she also took on the role of Interim Business Manager, excelling in both positions. RHTM is pleased to recognize her outstanding contributions with this well-deserved promotion.
