19th Student Enrichment Fundraiser – A Success!

After a three-year hiatus, the annual Student Enrichment Fundraiser made a grand return! The event was a tremendous success, featuring numerous major sponsors, table sponsors, and attendees who generously supported our efforts to enhance student experiences. A standout moment was the surprise $50,000 gift from Tractor Supply Company, this year’s honoree and recipient of the 2024 Innovator of the Industry Award!

Our dedicated faculty, RHTM Student Ambassadors, Rocky Top Institute Fellows, and graduate and undergraduate student volunteers poured their hearts into preparing for the fundraising event over several months, and their efforts paid off magnificently. During the program, attendees heard testimonials from students whose experiences were enriched by the scholarships and experiential learning opportunities offered by RHTM.
Joe Perrock, our adjunct instructor and owner of Perrock Entertainment, led the event planning and execution. Myra Loveday directed the auction and evening program. Dr. Kai-Sean Lee, Assistant Professor, added a special touch with a sugar art demonstration on the auction floor. Students from the culinary courses, under the guidance of Chef Tyler White, Assistant Professor of Practice, prepared an elaborate array of appetizers, while UT Creamery students served ice cream at the end of the meal, accompanied by the Rocky Top fight song.
