Job-Embedded Practitioner Master’s Programs

The Bailey Graduate School of Education offers post-baccalaureate pathways to becoming a licensed teacher. The Practitioner Concentration (job-embedded) is designed for students who have already completed an undergraduate degree and are seeking initial (Practitioner) licensure in a high-needs area while serving as the instructor of record at a partnership school system or private school. The Practitioner Concentration is offered fully online / distance education only.

The Agricultural Education program is offered through the Department of Agricultural Leadership, Education and Communications (ALEC) in the Institute of Agriculture (UTIA). The Early Childhood Education undergraduate programs are offered through the Department of Child and Family Studies in the College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences (CEHHS). The Music Education program is offered through the School of Music.The Library Science Education program is offered through the School of Information Sciences (SIS) in the College of Communication and Information (CCI). All other graduate-level teacher education programs are offered through the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education (TPTE). Be sure to visit the websites of the departments hosting these programs for the most up-to-date information.
