Research

As an applied relationship scientist, my work has mainly been focused on romantic relationships and community-based interventions, with a focus on dyadic health, specifically centers the experiences of those who identify as sexual and gender minorities (SGM). Trained as both a basic science and an applied scholar, my academic passion lies in culturally responsive primary prevention that promotes relational and individual well-being broadly, as well as a specific focus on SGM individuals and queer couples. My research takes a family systems and intersectional approach, aiming to better understand complex models of relational and individual health, as well as the mechanisms and trajectories of changes for different groups of program participants.
