Research

My research aims to understand the functioning and stability of romantic relationships. I am particularly interested in the ways couples cope with stress – including both everyday challenges and long-term stressors, such as financial strain. My work focuses on how people behave in relationships, how families function, and how broader social and economic factors affect the health of families and relationships. I am also interested in the methods and measures used to study couples and families.
