Kara Greaves

Executive Assistant to Dean McIntyre

Kara Greaves serves as the Executive Assistant to Dean McIntyre. A love for learning has steered her career in the direction of educational administration. Kara managed the business office of a rural K-12 district in Vermont from 2010-2017. In 2018, she transitioned to post-secondary education, providing administrative support to the athletics department at Northern Vermont University. After relocating to Tennessee, she began at UT in March 2020. In her current role, Kara supports the dean and the dean’s office in a multitude of ways, including schedule coordination, event planning, and office management. Her areas of interest include project management, strategic planning, and leadership development. Kara lives in Knoxville with her partner, Scott, and their small zoo, which consists of a spunky little rescue dog and four miniature goats. She spends her free time enjoying the outdoors, traveling, reading, and cheering on the Vols.
