Unit 1 includes five lessons that focused on teaching suffixes and using the &#8220;peel-off strategy&#8221; to read and spell multimorphemic words.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lesson 5. <\/strong>In this lesson, students will review the suffixes learned in Lessons 1\u20134. Lesson 5 contains multiple, short activities that will reinforce students\u2019 learning by having them use the combination of suffixes to read and spell new multimorphemic words.
