Dare to shine

Experiential learning is a cornerstone of coursework in TPTE and ranges from in-action learning in classrooms and community organization spaces to active learning through analysis, reflections, and discussions related to cases, data, and scenarios drawing on situations from a range of educational settings.

No matter where you are from, there is a place for you in TPTE

This program has thoroughly prepared me to start my career in education. I have been mentored, cared for, and challenged by all of my teachers and professors. They make sure you receive the best hands-on learning experiences, guide you through the coursework, and support you in each step towards graduation and receiving licensure. I am proud to be a part of the Elementary Education Program here at UTK!
