- Audiology and Speech Pathology Major (in conjunction with the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology)

Undergraduate Teaching Minors
Students who are earning a baccalaureate degree in the College of Arts and Sciences in their major and who are also seeking teacher licensure in elementary education, secondary education, English education, foreign language education, mathematics education, music education, science education, or social science education are urged to earn a minor in either elementary or secondary education. Students who do not earn a minor as part of their undergraduate studies will be required to complete the equivalent of a minor as a prerequisite to entering the fifth year of professional study.
Students should note that courses taken to satisfy the minor will not fulfill teacher licensure requirements.
Teaching Minors offered through the department:
- American Sign Language (does not lead to a teaching license)
- Art Education
- English as a Second Language Education (does not lead to a teaching license)
- Secondary Education – English Education
- Secondary Education – Social Sciences Education
- Secondary Education in Mathematics or Sciences (Through VolsTeach Program)
- World Language Education
