Science Education with an Internship in Teaching
The MS in Teacher Education with a Science Education Professional Internship concentration is intended for individuals who have earned an undergraduate degree and are seeking initial teacher licensure in Science 6-12. Candidates are prepared to work in diverse settings to effectively meet the individual learning needs of their students. Candidates earn an undergraduate degree in a science discipline, and a minor in Secondary Education. Then they complete the Professional Year – graduate coursework and a yearlong internship that leads to a master’s degree and teacher licensure.
