Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Integrated PreK-3 with an Internship in Teaching
The MS in Teacher Education with an Interdisciplinary Early Childhood Integrated PreK-3 Professional Internship concentration is intended for individuals who have earned an undergraduate degree and are seeking initial teacher licensure in PreK-3 Early Childhood education. Candidates are prepared to work in diverse settings to effectively meet the individual learning needs of their students. Candidates complete the Professional Year consisting of graduate coursework and a yearlong internship under the supervision of a highly skilled Mentor Teacher in a local school, leading to a master’s degree and teacher licensure.
