Deaf Studies: ASL Education focus leading to a 5th year Graduate Internship
The BS in Education, Deaf Studies Major with a Concentration in ASL Education leads to a graduate internship and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in American Sign Language (ASL), ASL linguistics, Deaf history and culture, educational trends and issues. Program coursework will allow students to obtain an ASL education license (Pre K-12) at the conclusion of the post-baccalaureate professional year.
