Merilee McCurdy began at the University of Tennessee in 2014 and serves as the Coordinator of the School Psychology program and Unit Lead for the Special Education & School Psychology Unit. For 14 years, she was on the faculty at the University of Nebraska in the School Psychology program. McCurdy’s research is focused on helping students become better writers and she develops and evaluates classroom interventions that can be used by teachers. McCurdy enjoys spending time with family, reading, and cheering on her college sports teams (of which there are many).
