Clinical Instructor, PreK-3 Program Coordinator
Biography
Melanie Roberts serves as the Program Coordinator for the PreK-3 Teacher Licensure Program at the University of Tennessee. Her role includes coordinating course offerings, managing student enrollment, facilitating communication between faculty and students, advising students during their graduate year, and supporting the continuous improvement of the program.
Melanie holds an M.S. in Child and Family Studies from San Diego State University and has a strong background in Early Childhood Education and student support. She is dedicated to enhancing the student experience and promoting effective collaboration among faculty, staff, and students to ensure the program's ongoing success.
Before joining the University of Tennessee, Melanie held leadership positions in several non-profit Early Childhood Education programs and served as affiliate faculty in Early Childhood Education. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time outdoors, reading, watching her two teens play sports, and family time.
