Biography
Professor Dyer holds a PhD in learning sciences. She has worked in education research and evaluation at non-profits WestEd and Horizon Research.
Her research focuses on teacher learning in K-12 mathematics, science, and STEM contexts, often using video in research and to support teacher learning.
She is the co-PI on a National Science Foundation project that is developing methods to integrate computational techniques in qualitative analysis of mathematics classroom videos, and IES project studying the Tennessee Career Pathways program in collaboration with the Tennessee Department of Education.
