A limited number of graduate teaching assistantships are available from our department each year. However, there are many sources of funding and assistantships elsewhere on campus.
*PhD applicants who wish to be considered for a graduate assistantship with the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education (TPTE) must apply to the Graduate School by December 1st and be fully admitted to the PhD program by February 1st.
Applications for graduate assistantships must be submitted to the department by January 15.

“The program has been essential in preparing me for a career as an instructional designer by offering a solid foundation in instructional design theory and opportunities to apply my knowledge through practical, hands-on projects. Additionally, I’ve had the chance to conduct research related to instructional design, deepening my expertise in the field. With the program’s support, I’ve also attended conferences to present my work and network with professionals, further aligning my academic and career goals.”
