Our very own Zoi Traga-Philippakos, assistant professor of literacy education, chaired the International Literacy Association’s (ILA) Task Force on Writing and served as one of the principal authors on ILA’s research advisory on “Teaching Writing to Improve Reading Skills” which was released on Monday.
The ILA is a leading global organization dedicated to advancing literacy education around the world. It regularly produces a number of research-based position statements, research advisories, literacy leadership briefs, white papers, and reports that put forward their perspective on trends in literacy education.
Congratulations to Professor Traga-Philippakos for this fantastic achievement!
