Bill Stricklen is a distinguished lecturer in Deaf Studies in the Department of Theory and Practice in Teacher Education at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Stricklen holds a master’s in counseling and has taught all levels of American Sign Language courses for over 20 years. He is a former nationwide Sprint, Purple, and IP-Relay account manager, as well as a former relay program administrator for Public Utilities Commission of Colorado. He has extensive knowledge of several communication modes including Oral, SEE, Total Communication, Interpreting in School, Deaf residential school and hearing private residential school.
