A detailed budget with line item costs for each project period is required by most funding agencies. A detailed budget is always required by UT Division of Research Administration (DRA). Budgets should represent actual project costs and should include annual inflation for items such as salary, tuition, student health fees, and any other costs anticipated to increase.
An internal budget must be submitted with each proposal, in addition to the funding agency’s budget forms. After your proposal is assigned to Kelly or Courtney, one of them will contact you to finalize your draft budget and complete the internal budget forms necessary for submission to DRA.
